New Orleans Day 1
So, I obviously have a lot I want to do today so I'll just give you the brief rundown of what my day was like.
I woke up at 4 in the morning and got on a plane leaving for New Orleans at 6. We flew all day, and all day on the plane, I read. We had a layover in Dallas that got delayed past it's original 2 hours because the plane before us was about 1 1/2 late. Anyway, we did make it to New Orleans and I did finish my 800 pages of reading!!!!!! The worst part of the plane rides, somewhere along the way, I lost my wallet. That's bad because unfortunately, it had a lot of stuff in it! I hope it turns up soon, I'm praying that it will and know that it will all work out for the best, no matter what happens. Anyway, when we got to our shuttle to the hotel, it turned out to be a limo that was shaped like a van. I know this is confusing to understand, but, mainly it is exactly like a limo inside except that the ceiling is taller. It was super nice and I enjoyed myself. While on the shuttle back to the hotel, we saw the BYU team walking along the street, two blocks from where we are staying!!! We wanted to get out and talk to them, but we couldn't. Once we were settled in our hotel, we tried to go stalk them down, but it didn't really work. We ended up going to the Riverwalk and meeting a Deseret News Reporter and talked to him about the game because he too was cheering for BYU! The funniest thing about New Orleans? We tried to walk around but nothing was open. Literally nothing. The "big mall" had about 3 stores. It's crazy! Nothing is like Chicago. We think the town is a little bit deserted because of Marty Gras that happened not that long ago. Well, dinner was exciting. We ate at a sports grill and it turns out, we ate at the same grill that they were holding a pep rally at for Wisconsin. Yes, while we ate, we were surrounded by red, Wisconsin fans, cheerleaders, the band, their mascot, and a bunch of flags. It was quite the adventure and needless to say, my aunt and I felt a little out of place in our BYU shirts. For dinner though, I ate some of the best barbeque pizza I've ever tasted! YUM! Well, I want to go tour something alive in New Orleans so I'm gonna go get ready for the day! Love you all!!!!!!!!!!

Rach, we're going to have a party as 14 and 15 year olds!!!! Anyway, to celebrate this momentous occasion, we went laser tagging and my team totally dominated. (except that we lost by 50 points - ha ha!) Then, we came home and ate a bunch of pizza and ice cream. It was super fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!! Luv ya tons :)

Happy Awkward Moments Day :)
Happy Awkward Moments Day!!
No clue this existed until Sister Brown told us in Seminary. I hope you've taken the time to celebrate this amazingly awesome holiday...it's so sick. If you haven't had an awkward moment today, I would recommend going on a date as a sixteen year old-I can tell you (from my vast dating experience) that dates can and most likely will be awkward at some point or another. Never fear though, dating is also way fun. And, if all else fails, think of Abraham Lincoln.

March Madness Baby!
Well it is March, which can only mean one thing, MARCH MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!! The NCAA tournament is a HUGE deal at our house! We have brackets all over our walls with a huge competition! Anybody is welcome to send theirs over to my house to join the Wall of Fame. You could be the next champion!
I am pretty psyched out and BYU is doing really well this year and I hope that they can at least make it to the Elite 8 this year! Jimmer and Emery pretty much dominate!! I also noticed that Syracuse is a 3 seed as well as BYU. I guess three is my lucky number this year!! Some of the games have already started. Yesterday BYU played and did very well and there was a huge upset with Louisville that hurt a lot of people's brackets!
I am excited to see how this tournament goes!!!!! Good luck everybody!!!
